Not sure why this place has such poor reviews. It's actually our go-to for pho in the area. It's never crowded, always fast and always reliable.
The portions are huge, the noodles are always good (chewy rather than soggy) and it's solid pho for those days when you need just need a comforting large bowl of soup and noodles. -

I like the food here, but I can no longer take the crap service or disgusting conditions. If this were LA, the health grade would be no higher than a C. And yes, I know that any good Vietnamese restaurant is going to be disgusting by American standards. But couple the nasty conditions with the rude, indifferent service, I'm starting to look for another shop.
I don't know why they keep the one guy (young, tall, with glasses) up front taking orders. He never smiles, mumbles and is barely audible. I hate the Asian style food service that is sweeping the Bay Area. Look, we give you money in exchange for goods and services. If you don't want to give at least a C+ effort to abide by our food service courtesy standards, then set up shop in East San Jose or Westminster. It really would not take much for me to change my opinion of this place- a little more cleaning up/maintenance, just a little bit more friendly service.
My last visit, the workers made a big bowl of some sort of chicken soup and they ALL sat down to eat. All 7 of them. I guess it's not illegal to do so, but it's pretty poor acknowledgment of restaurant standards. How would you feel if your waiter at [insert middle tier chain restaurant] was sitting in view of your table, not paying attention to you or his/her tables and was chowing down on their dinner that they brought from the back? That waiter would be disciplined. And when a customer required help, did the worker wash his hands (which is a County health code requirement after eating)? What do you think?
I think it's time to send a note to the SM County Health Inspector. -

Zero stars if I could. This place used to be decent. Now it's straight up garbage. The quality and the flavor has really gone beyond anywhere I would go to again. The plates looked like they were slapped together - I'm not expecting it to be fine cuisine at a Vietnamese joint, but the veggies should be clean. The veggies that were on my rice plate may as well have been on the floor. They looked dirty! And the food tasted bland. I also ordered shrimp rolls and they kept saying egg rolls. Almost arguing with me so I finally grabbed a menu and showed them the picture and ordered by number. What was brought to our table? You guessed it - egg rolls! When I sent it back we went through the same exercise. Am I in the twilight zone? The waiter that brought the food wasn't even talking, he was grunting. Save yourself the hassle, don't bother coming here. You're better off going to Ben Tre or Pho Element. The extra money is worth your sanity and your health.

Place is big. There is no waiting line or at least when I came. The food is alright, and it came out fast. However, the customer service could be better. Overall, it is an alright place if you don't want to wait for food.

Decent pho. I came here knowing that they had veggie broth, and it was chocked full of cabbage and veggies. It's a little pricey for the amount you get and service was subpar. Does the job.
